I’m super short on time so . . .
🙂 my companion and I started a game where whenever we see a Smart car or Prius we can drill each other. Super not fun, but it’s worth it because I usually see them first . . .
😦 we had a visit in a pueblo kind of far out and when we were coming back we got a flat tire, so we had to change it. But then the guy we were with didn’t have his special tool to get the special bolt off so, we had to wait for like 30 minutes . . . haha oh well . . .
🙂 I had to translate for some African investigators who didn’t know Spanish. It went well, but it was definitely hard to listen and talk. The Lord has been blessing us with the gift of tongues . . .
🙂 we had the chance to eat at a Dominican’s house and we had some authentic food there, abichuela, and it was boss . . .
started a diet with my companion because we wanna get married when we get back so we can’t be fat . . .
🙂 I’m loving it out here. Christ lives and He leads and guides His Church through Thomas S. Monson, the true and living prophet on the earth today.

Well this week – new companion, same area. Not much happened so sorry people. My new companion is elder Oliver from Texas. A Texan and a Californian – haha the Lord has a sense of humor doesn’t he? Nah, just messin – there is no Texan nor Californian pride here. I’m still working hard, seeing miracles, and loving life.
General Conference was INCREDIBLE! I’m super grateful for the opportunity that we have to have a living prophet on the earth today. The Lord guides his Church through him, President Thomas S. Monson, and we are blessed to be able to hear his words. Just as the people of old got to hear the words of Moses, Abraham, and many other great prophets we get to hear the words of our living prophet.
I have some chubby notes from conference – probably about 12 pages worth. Can’t wait for the talks to come out so I can read them. Speaking of reading General Conference talks, I decided that I’m going to read all of the talks given since 1971. I just want all the knowledge of the prophets and apostles I can get. So I’m reading about three to four talks a day. Hopefully, I should have read every single talk by the time I finish the mish! Good thing I’ve got lots of time!
I really liked something elder Rasband said in his testimony yesterday – “I can’t remember not believing in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.” That is exactly how I feel. It’s always been hard for me when people ask me when I got my testimony because I don’t have a moment where it just hit me. I always just get the answer “you know it Sam.” I have never once doubted anything about this church, it all just makes sense to me, it’s all true.
Super short email this week, but sometimes that’s life. Keeping things simple and sweet!
